Located in Apollo Bay, The Shrub Club Community Nursery is a community of beginner and experienced volunteers who collect and propagate plants native to the southern Otway region.

We grow a wide range of local native plants suitable for projects of all scales, ranging from magnificent tall trees to ornate spreading groundcovers. Our plants are used in SOLN revegetation projects and sold to the local community or businesses/organisations undertaking revegetation works in the Otways.

We will happily recommend the appropriate local native plants for any project or property. Our stock varies seasonally and large orders should be placed well in advance to allow seed collection and propagation.

Our volunteers meet at 9am every Wednesday at the nursery to learn, work and eat together. New faces are always welcome. Throughout the year we organise ‘plant walks’ to collect seed and cuttings and learn about our local flora.
