We are delighted to advise you that our “Nursery site development” and “Saving Seeds for our Future” applications have been successfully approved for funding in the Colac Otway Shire Grants Program for 2024/2025. Big thanks to Colac Otway Shire for funding these two programs, the money will go towards building a storage shed and potting mix bay at the nursery and the purchase of seed-processing equipment for the use of members and the community for the Ridge to Cape Landcare Group. Unfortunately some other projects weren’t funded; “Weed-Free Hickeys Cutting: A Community Restoration Effort”, “Edible Otways workshop series”, “Gardening for the Wild” and “Otway Ocean Care- Workshops and Social Events” and we will continue to seek funding elsewhere to run these programs
