Last month the Indonesian government announced a crackdown on illegal logging as part of a one billion dollar deal with Norway to stop deforestation. But this could leave thousands of people without an income. Now, a group in northern Sumatra have taken an innovative approach, retraining former illegal loggers to work as elephant keepers.
