The Surf Coast Energy Group (SCEG), a community group focussed on taking action on climate change has organised a forum on the issue of Climate Change and Population Growth. Population is a central lever in the conversation about carbon emissions and climate change. It is also key to the issue of sustainability. This forum will be of critical importance in the lead up to the State and Federal election as well as the Bellarine coast and Surf Coast Shire’s Torquay/Jan Jan 2040 Sustainability program. Needless to say the future of Spring Creek is hanging in the balance. Fortunately the speakers lined up by the Surf Coast Energy Group are some of the nation’s best authorities on the issue.
