Community Notice of Invitation
Please find attached the Community Invitation to the Barwon Otway Bushfire Management Plan community meetings, The focus is on community participation, so if you want to represent your views and ideas about your community please come along. [Other government agencies and authority's will also have an opportunity to participate in the development of the new plan at a later date].
These meetings are about the development of a new Barwon Otway Bushfire Management Plan, as the current 10 year plan is to soon expire.
These meetings are NOT connected to the Victorian Bushfire Royal Commission meetings or the Fire Operations Plan – proposed 2010/2011 burns and works consultation.
Please pass this information onto your own networks, your local shop window, the public notice board, school newsletter etc.
