Climatic influencers in SW Vic second Workshop

Please find attached a flier for a second “Climatic Influencers” workshop under the Otway Agroforestry Network Farm Ready Project - the first was run as part of the Farm Tree Expo on May 29th - This one will be focussed on discussing El Nino/La Nina, The Indian Ocean Dipole, The Sub Tropical Ridge, and the Southern Annular Mode their influences in SW Vic and ways of tracking them in order to predict coming seasonal probabilities.
We will also discuss DPI research into attitudes towards climate variability/ change, adaptations already taking place and appropriate ways of discussing the issue with farmers. Tools and information will be provided to those interested.
